What is the minimum and maximum sheet thickness you cut?
This depends based upon the metal type, for Mild Steel we cut anywhere from 1mm to 25mm thick. Stainless Steel is cut between 0.5mm to 15mm and Aluminium is anywhere from 1mm to 12mm.
What is your Laser Capacity?
At Telford Laser, we own two Bystronic lasers. These include the BySpeed Pro 3015 and the BySprint Fiber 3015, and both have bed sizes of 3000mm x 1500mm.
What grading of materials do you stock?
Mild Steel= S275
Stainless Steel= 304 and 316
Aluminium= 1050
We have other metal grades available upon request.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
We have no minimum order quantity and are willing to cut anything you need, however we do have a minimum order charge.
Is there a certain file type I need to quote using?
We do prefer a dxf, dwg or pdf; however any file type is usable and we take sketches too!
Can I supply my own material?
You are allowed to supply your own material, as long as it meets the requirements for the laser to cut it.
Do you laser cut tube?
Unfortunately not.
What are your lead times?
Our current lead times are 5-7 working days however this may vary slightly.
